Breaking News!

I have so many blogs that I need to write, but I felt this one needed to be posted immediately. Kim Kardashian and Kris Humphries are getting a divorce after only 72 days of marriage. Of course, people are saying that this was all a publicity stunt and it was all done just to get money. I watched the 2 part wedding special on E! and I don't think it was fake. The couple didn't seem to be getting along at the rehearsal dinner because Kris just didn't care about anything and was giving answers to questions to clearly piss people off so I'm thinking things just went down hill from there. I'm also thinking that the second they got engaged, E! wanted to make a TV special and the couple was kind of forced into things. Kim probably knew before the wedding that this wasn't going to work out, but for some reason did it anyway. Plus, Kris is so young! I don't know many guys who are ready for marriage at age 26, especially professional basketball players. It didn't really add up in my opinion. Either way, the wedding looked freaking beautiful and the Kardashians made millions of dollars off of the special so is this really a loss for anyone? Is that heartless to say?

What's In a Name?

The royal wedding is almost here and of course that means talk about it alllll over the internet. I posted the pizza from Papa Johns, the LA Times has a designated section talking about the wedding and things you can do in America to prepare, Ellen Degeneres keeps talking about it. It’s just insane. I don’t really care about it. I might take a peak at the wedding, but I’m not going to wake up at 1am to watch it live. Sure it’s interesting to keep an eye on because royalty doesn’t exist in America so seeing other royalty is kind of cool, but that’s kind of where it ends for me. But for one girl named Kate Middleton, it may never end. This girl in Massachusetts is getting hounded because her name is Kate Middleton as well. People keep asking her to talk in a British accent. Facebook even deleted her account and untagged her in all of her pictures because they thought she made a fake account. Oy vey. I guess there are at least 3 more Kate Middleton’s as well. One in Australia and 2 more in Britian. Talk about a popular name. At least the Kate Middleton in Mass is taking advantage of the press. She will be in a bike tour in July for multiple sclerosis and she promised she would ride a tandem bike with a Prince William look-a-like if everyone would help her raise $10,000. That’s kind of awesome.

Royal Pizza

This royal wedding nonsense has gotten way out of hand. There are tours to see Kate’s childhood home, but the tour guides aren’t even allowed to point out which home was actually hers. I heard they don’t even know which one belonged to her and her family. There are specials on TV allll the time. I mean, leave these people alone. My company is even broadcasting the wedding live online. Again, too far. Yesterday morning, things went a little further. Papa John’s Pizza has a pizza dedicated to the wedding. Yup. The pizza shows William and Kate’s faces made out of olives and ham and all of the above. I mean, it’s well done, but come on! Is this really necessary?

Fairytale Wedding

Sorry to bombard you with Disney blogs the past 3 days. I will try to make this one my last for the week. This one might be worth it to some people. If you’re a huge Disney princess fan, you will love this. If you’re not, keep reading anyway because you might like it. There is a collection of wedding dresses designed to look like the dresses the princesses in the movies wore. How freaking cool is that! So if Belle is your favorite, you can expect your dress to look like this:

And so on and so forth. The names are written under each dress in the picture. They also have a collection of princess rings. Talk about a fairytale wedding. I’m not going to lie, I would totally do something like this. It seems like so much fun! Ariel's ring is my favorite.

Weird and Weirder Tie the Knot

Well, it’s official. Katy Perry and Russell Brand got married on Saturday in India. I guess India is where he proposed. Their entire ceremony stayed true to Indian wedding traditions. That’s kind of interesting. Now they can go off and make weird babies named Sloth and Jumanji.

As a wedding gift, Russell bought Katy a tigress named Machli. The tigress will remain in the jungle, but the money given by Brand will go into its welfare and conservation schemes in the park. That’s kind of awesome. I can totally see them with a tigress in their home though so it wouldn’t have surprised me if they took it on the plane home and kept it in their backyard. Maybe they’re a little more normal than I give them credit for…
