Bossypants

Yes please! Tina Fey has a book out this week called Bossypants. This is the description on Amazon:

Sounds awesome. I really want to read it. I’m sure anything she has to say in here is pretty freaking hilarious. Sometimes I wonder though. People say that comedy comes from a dark place and this description makes me wonder if she’s just a super depressed person.

There are so many ridiculous shows out there that shouldn’t be out there and some that are ridiculous and just need to be watched. I think the new show The Marriage Ref falls into this category. I decided to give it a whirl and I found it stupid funny. The concept is taking a couple with a weird problem and they consult 3 celebrity judges and ask their opinion on the problem. The first episode had a couple whose dog died and the husband loved the dog so much that he stuffed it and displayed it in the house and the wife hated the dog and thought it was creepy. The judges saw their story and decided that the husband was in fact insane for wanting to stuff his dog. The situations presented are just funny. Who the hell stuffs their dog? Plus having celebrity judges that are funny helps the show along. It’s almost like watching an improve talk show. The celebrity judges switch out each show so the content is different every time. The only judge who remains the same is Jerry Seinfeld because he created the show. So far there have only been 2 episodes. Alec Baldwin was on the first show and Tina Fey was on the second. So funny. It’s on Hulu so you can catch it any time. Let me know what you think.
