Too Big

Looks like Heidi Montag is starting to regret her plastic surgery. Well, no shit! You look like a fucking train wreck. She said her boobs are the worst because they’re too big and painful for her to perform her daily activities. She wants to reduce her G cup size to a D or double D. She originally wanted an H cup because her name starts with an H! She’s way too tiny for that. I can’t believe she hasn’t fallen over yet. And to top it all off, the plastic surgeon that did her 10 reconstructions died in a car accident one week after her surgery. How sad is that? So now she needs to find a new doctor I guess. If Spencer was really the main reason behind all of her plastic surgeries, than I feel sorry for her. To regret the fact that you completely altered your body isn’t good. Having your breasts be too big is one thing, but to hate your face and the rest of your body is awful. It can never be changed back. I’m still hoping this was all a stunt and she will run in front of the cameras and rip off a mask and reveal her original face.

Vampire Facelift

My main news sources are usually BBC.com when I have a computer in front of me or NPR when I’m in the car and sometimes KROQ when they do their tiny news updates. The other day, I was listening to NPR and heard about this new plastic surgery technique NPR and Twilight freaks are calling “Vampire Facelift.” I guess the real term is Selphyl, but I doubt anyone will ever call it that. Basically, this is an injection of your own blood into areas with wrinkles. So rather than using Coligny or any other chemicals, they use your own blood to reduce wrinkles. I guess when people call it a facelift, it’s inaccurate, but you get the idea. The procedure is kind of cool. They draw your blood, separate the platelets from the red blood cells, blend those platelets with a fibrin mixture, whatever the hell that is, and then they inject it back into the wrinkled areas.

I’m not a fan of augmenting one’s appearance in any way so I’m not the biggest fan of this even if it’s all natural, but I guess I like this idea better than injecting chemicals into your face. I think wrinkles can be pretty and add character. To me, wrinkles show what you’ve been through in life. I also really hate the fact that women aren’t allowed to have wrinkles and men are. Not many men receive plastic surgery. If you notice, almost all older actresses have had something done to their face, yet men can keep their wrinkles and everyone still considers them hot. That really gets on my nerves. I look at Maggie Smith and think she’s beautiful. Why can’t these other women be more like her?
