Evil Hotness
Holy hotness batman! Hotness is everywhere in Snow White and The Huntsman. If you’re a boy, you will revel in the hotness. If you’re a girl, please just admire and maybe touch a little. I never ever thought I would say that Kristen Stewart is hot. When I saw the previews there was no way I was going to believe that Kristen Stewart is supposed to be “fairer” than Charlize Theron, but whatever they did to Kristen in this movie, they did it right. It was perfect. She barely spoke and just sat there and looked pretty. All she ever really needs to do…ever. Even when she spoke it was ok and I didn’t want to kill myself. Of course, Charlize is more beautiful and waaaaay hotter, but it wasn’t as far fetched as I thought it was going to be. The movie could have gone one of two ways. It could have been horrible and cheesy or freaking awesome. I have to say that it was pretty awesome. I read that even the producers were surprised at how well the movie is doing and now they’re planning a second one.
The movie is just so pretty to look at too. They go into the dark forest and the forest of the fairies and it’s just so well done. But the best part is that the story is well done too. You don’t get caught up in anything cheesy. This is not your typical Disney fairytale. The writers clearly read the Grimm’s version and threw out the Disney version to make it more of an adult movie.
I hoped I pushed you off the fence with this one too. Definitely another good summer movie.

I Have a Lesbian Crush On You
I had a couple of topics to write about today, but this one sticks out the most in my mind. I was never sure whether or not I liked Dakota Fanning. She’s one of those people who is either a really good actor or a really bad actor. It was very hard for me to tell. Was she over acting or just that amazing? Well, after hearing this news I could care less what kind of actor she is. She sucks no matter what. She has released an apology to her fans for kissing Kristen Stewart in the movie The Runaways saying that she’s just playing a role and that’s something she would never do in real life. Are you effing kidding me with this? I freaking hate you Dakota Fanning. Why the hell would you apologize to your fans for kissing a girl when not too long ago you were in a movie where you got raped? Explain that one to me. Not only that, but way to be antigay from the start. I really really hate her right now. She doesn’t deserve anything she gets unless it’s a big lesbian smooch! I hope she loses her lesbian fans for making such a ridiculous apology. Lesbians everywhere should revolt. Next time you see her girls, give her a big wet one! Kristen Stewart is a total lesbian in this video!!!

Weekend Movie - None

I didn’t get a chance to see Diary of a Wimpy Kid nor The Runaways, which made me sad, but I did get to hear how they did in the box office and I was a bit surprised. Diary of a Wimpy Kid came in second place behind Alice in Wonderland, which is good. The movie looks cute and there are never enough cute movies for kids. They tend to be dumb and torturous for parents. This is where the shock came in. The Runaways was nowhere to be found. It wasn’t in the top 10 at all. I at least expected it to be somewhere in there. I haven’t heard any reviews from critics so I’m not sure if people were avoiding it or not. Knowing that Kristen Stewart can be a little over dramatic in her acting may have been the reason, but Dakota Fanning is supposed to be really good. Maybe The Runaways just weren’t as popular as we thought? I don’t know. I will have to find out for myself next weekend I guess.
The one movie that I did get to see that I have wanted to see, but no one would see it, is Precious. I know why people were avoiding it. Normally, I avoid that stuff too, but I was just so gosh darn curious. Especially because one of the actresses won an award. I had to find out for myself. Luckily, the plane ride to Hawaii had the movie in it’s queue. It wasn’t very good. Depressing yes, but not good. My mom read the book and she said it was good, but I have to say that the movie was a little disappointing. It got the point across, but I feel cinematically it could have been better. I can’t really put my finger on the detail that could have made it better, but it definitely could have been better. The movie is about a girl named Precious who is sexually abused by her dad from birth. This caused the mother to hate her because she felt that her boyfriend was being stolen by her own daughter. How sick is that? So the mother does everything she can to make her daughter’s life hell. Precious ends up getting pregnant twice by her father and then contracts AIDS from him as well. Definitely a heart warming story. If you’re in the mood, go ahead and rent it. Maybe you can tell me what’s missing. Did anyone see any good movies?

New Movie Friday
I’m back. Did you miss me? Looks like no one appreciated the Harry Potter Brokeback video. Sad day. I thought it was funny. Moving right along. There are 2 movies coming out today that I really want to see. The first one is The Runaways. I want to see this because I hear Dakota Fanning is amazing and I’m curious to see if Kristen Stewart can be normal and not all over dramatic like she normally is. The second movie is Diary of a Wimpy Kid. This movie looks super cute and light hearted. I just hope it’s not one of those movies where all the good parts are shown in the previews with nothing else left for the movie. Which one do you want to see? Both? Who’s in? We have a full weekend ahead of us. Happy Friday!!!

Manic Monday
Sigh. Ellen Page. So tiny and so talented. Who knew Canada could produce such talent.
Her new movie Whip It opened this weekend and it did pretty well. It was in the top 10, which is awesome considering it’s almost in the Indie film category. I was going to see it, but missed the showing so I will see it next weekend and report back next week.
Ellen is best known for Juno, which is where the obsession began. I immediately rented all her movies and even dressed up as Juno for Halloween. It was rockin’. I never want to be pregnant. It’s too warm.
Ellen has been in some crazy ass movie including Hard Candy. I hated the movie the first time I saw it. I wanted to throw things and yell at people, but then I saw it again and I was hooked. I tell everyone they need to watch this movie. It’s a psychological thriller and I eat that shit for breakfast. I tried to write one of my own once, but I don’t think I was very good at it.Anyway, Ellen is one of those talented actresses that could be around for a long time. Not like Kristen Stewart who is too boring to live. Or like teen stars who will disappear after their fifth movie. I think she will have a long career and I am ready to follow her every step. Oh and she plays soccer, which is a huge plus. Happy Monday!
