Oh Julie Andrews. How I love thee. I mean who doesn’t. She’s so fun and makes everyone smile. This is long over due for her, but she is finally receiving a Grammy lifetime achievement award alongside Dolly Parton and The Ramones. Interesting group of people. I’m so happy for her! The Grammy’s are in February 2011 so I can imagine they will all receive their awards then.Can you believe she’s had a steady career for 60 years? That’s kind of incredible. Even though she can no longer sing, she’s still super well known and will never be forgotten. That’s incredible as well. She definitely lives up to Mary Poppins: practically perfect in every way.
