I’m kind of super excited about this. I’m not a fan of the ride itself, but this sounds like it’s going to be awesome. Disney has announced that they’re going to make a Jungle Cruise movie. At first I was a little skeptical because they totally killed The Haunted Mansion by casting Eddie Murphy, but the cast for the Jungle Cruise movie is just amazing. There’s no way this movie could be ruined:The Walt Disney Studios is excited to be in development with Mandeville Films and writer Roger S.H. Schulman on a feature film based on the Jungle Cruise, one of the most iconic attractions in Disney theme park history. The film will pair up Tim Allen and Tom Hanks in their first live-action project, after their previous collaborations in the Toy Story trilogy.
So not only is the essence of Toy Story coming together here, but it’s live action! That just sounds awesome. So Disney, please make this one good. Please!
I wonder if it will be a 90-minute Toy Story flashback with those voices in the lead. As long as they have the hippos with the wiggling ears, I'll be happy!
