I'm really not sure how I feel about these pictures. I mean, yes this isn't something I want to see, but I'm not sure how I feel about this in general for the public to see. Glee has such a squeaky clean rep and then they do something like this. Yeah, they can do whatever they want to do, but does this somehow taint their show? Does this make younger girls think that it's ok to suck on a lollipop and spread your legs like that? I'm not a parent, but I probably wouldn't want my teenage daughter to have this magazine. I know that when I look at these pictures it makes me wish my body looked like Lea Michele's. I definitely don't appreciate the view of her crotch at all.To look at the other side of things, I used to be super obsessed with Jennifer Love Hewitt and I had this binder that I created with all these magazine clippings and magazine covers and what not. Well, there were some pretty crazy pictures of her in there. She posed on the cover of Maxim and stuff like that and my parents were ok with me getting those magazines because I liked the actress and they knew I wouldn't go around flashing my stomach the way she did. I was a tomboy too so I'm sure that helped a little.
I guess now that I'm older and actively watch the show I just feel like these pictures are wrong. Glee has a certain reputation and I feel like showing these actors in this light kind of defeats that. If these actors posed like this individually, it may not have had the strong outburst that it did, but because 3 actors from the show posed together I feel like it kind of deserves a fuss...
