Weekend Movie - Sex and the City 2

It was a nice, long weekend and I was able to make my way to a movie between all of the parties, food, and fireworks. I went with the family to see Sex and the City 2 and even though it's been getting awful reviews, we thought it would be a cute movie. Boy were we wrong. This was the one time we should have listened to the critics. The movie was way too long and just boring. The script was basically a set of one liners divided by incredibly ugly fashion and furniture. There was one scene where Sarah Jessica Parker's hair is curled and crimped all at once and I could have barfed. Whoever did her hair like that needs to be fired and never allowed to work in the film industry ever again.

The girls go to Dubai and end up offending the culture and are sent home. Of course, there are way too many unnecessary sex scenes and butt and penis shots. I face palmed quite a bit just because it was so awkward. The only good part of the movie was Liza Minnelli performing Single Ladies. Otherwise, I could have done without the rest of the movie. I hope everyone had a great weekend and didn't ruin it by seeing this movie. My mom saved all the ticket stubs so she can write to the production company and get our money back.
