Manic Monday

Amanda Bynes. What can I say about you? You started out as a child actress on All That on Snick and then they thought you were super funny so they gave you your own show, The Amanda Show. That got canceled, but made you pretty well known amongst the kids. You disappeared for a while and then re-appeared in a bunch of random teen-ish movies and a TV show, What I Like About You. Then you started your own clothes line and I bought 2 of your shirts and they fit funky. Then, you tweeted you were retiring from acting. To me, it didn't seem like you did enough to retire, but then again there are so many people who do one movie and never act again because they don't like the business. And now you Tweet that you're un-retiring and then proceed to push your new movie...? This smells like a publicity stunt to me. Your retirement lasted about 3 weeks and then you say "just kidding" and push your next movie? Come on Amanda. Hasn't this business taught you anything? Don't sink that low just to get people to notice you because you've been out of the lime light since you did Hairspray. If this is truly a publicity stunt, than I must say that my respect level for you has dropped a bit. I will admit that I was a little sad when you "retired," but my life and movie viewing would have gone on normally. You were funny in She's The Man, which kept me company on my plane ride from Hawaii to California. Sometimes, you can be a little annoying, but I was ok with that. After, this though, Amanda. I think I'm going to have to pull out all the stops. Either retire or don't. Don't toy with my emotions and put me down and then bring me back up. Can I trust you now? I'm not sure. We will need to work that back up and figure something out.
