We all love zombies right? I mean who doesn’t love the walking dead. Drooling and all. The new movie Zombieland is coming out next month and it looks kind of awesome I’m not going to lie. It looks kind of like a spoof and therefore I am all in. The real zombie movies kind of scare me. They make me scared of dark places because I think that suddenly a zombie is going to jump out and eat me or drool on me and make me one of them. After I saw the Saw movies, I was even more terrified of the dark than I already am. I kept thinking someone in a pig mask was going to jump out at me and put a needle in my arm and I was going to wake up with my eyes sewn shut and I had to try to find a key to release me or something. Yes, I frequently have nightmares.
Anyway, moving on. I think I really need to see Zombieland.
The kid from Adventureland is it in and that movie sucked so maybe he can redeem himself with what is probably going to be the best zombie movie of all time. Okay okay. This is dripping with sarcasm, but come on, if nothing else, this movie is going to be good for a laugh. You have to love the tag line on the poster: This place is so dead.
I went on the movie website and there is a quiz entitled “Is Your Loved One a Zombie?” Hahahaha. I tried to take it, but I couldn’t even get passed the first question. There is even an iPhone application of some sort. Maybe it helps ward off the zombies. Shine the screen in their eyes and they leave you alone. Sigh. I love October.
I cannot wait to see this! Hooray zombies! *rawr, growl, snarl, and other un-dead noises*
But I do have one concern. Whasisface from Adventureland is going to typecast himself into theme park movies at this rate. What'll be next? Pirateland?
P.S. That "Is Your Loved One a Zombie" quiz is sexist ... why can't the girlfriend be a zombie? Or is this movie targeted only towards heterosexual women?

ReplyDeleteThat's why I closed the quiz. I like girls. My bf is not going to be a zombie. I promise that.
ReplyDeleteCan we A. see it during the daytime? or B. stay up all night watching Disney movies?
ReplyDeleteB. Stay up all night!!! We need Cars, Mulan, Lilo & Stitch, Pocahontas and what else?
