Manic Monday

I had the pleasure of being sick this past weekend and we all know what that means; stay in bed and watch a movie. I was actually out and about more than I should have been, but when I got the opportunity, I was in bed watching TV or DVD’s.

I have recently gotten into the show Grey’s Anatomy. I never watched it because I was never one to jump on board the popular train and it just didn’t really appeal to me. People went all crazy over the show and I had never seen an episode. I didn’t know what it was about and I just really didn’t care. I finally sat down and watched an episode and I am happy to report that I am hooked. It is ridiculous. So I sat down with the first season and just started watching. It’s hard to come into a show that has been running for 5 years and understand what’s going on. Characters died and were fired and married people. It’s very hard to wrap your head around 5 years. So I decided that I needed to start from the beginning. It is very interesting to watch the show backwards knowing what happens in the future.

I have heard many people talk about the show saying it’s good, but dramatic. There are definitely parts that seem pretty dramatic. Quite a few people even said they stopped watching the show because they feel it turned into a soap opera. I guess I shall have to see for myself.
